Who We Are
MEDA (Metropolitan Economic Development Association) is a non-profit organization that focuses on helping BIPOC entrepreneurs succeed. Through management education, money and market, MEDA provides services to BIPOC business owners during their rise to success.
The Volunteer Accelerator Network (V.A.N.) consists of business mentors and executive coaches with subject matter expertise that are paired with BIPOC Entrepreneurs for their specific business needs or general mentoring opportunities. A mentorship lasts as long as agreed upon in the mentoring agreement that is discussed during the introductory meeting.
Upon receipt of application to be a business mentor/executive coach, you will be onboarded by MEDA during one of the monthly orientation and onboarding sessions, then be paired with a mentee who you will help set SMART goals, tangible outcomes and assist in their business acceleration.
What We Do
MEDA's Volunteer Accelerator Network helps BIPOC entrepreneurs succeed through management education services provided by corporate partners as business mentors and executive coaches. We encourage resilient BIPOC entrepreneurs to continue moving forward with their business dreams and accelerate their growth with the help of MEDA's V.A.N. program.
