Organization’s Challenge: FamilyWise operates a fully licensed daycare in addition to other programming. The daycare is not at maximum enrollment capacity; this has been a trend for multiple years. There are possible significant changes coming in programming due to financial losses and limitations. FamilyWise has one simple tool they use at the beginning of the year to input enrollment numbers, but it doesn’t account for changes that happen as the year moves along. The organization is seeking a team to help build a forecasting tool to make the case for scenarios that would allow them to operate at a high standard but make pivots like adding programming, eliminate age rooms, or investing in specific areas. Understanding as well the true cost of each child in each stage they are at in the daycare will help them make informed financial decisions for growth and change.

1 Project Lead - They help facilitate the group work, guiding the team through the agendas, keeping folks on task and conversation flowing, inclusive of all voices. Project leads do not need to have expertise in all aspects of the challenge but rather have strong leadership and facilitation skills. Leads also help schedule the preparatory scoping call.
