Volunteer: Project Leader Advocate

Project Leader Advocates will provide county-level leadership, voice, & oversight over a project area development. Whether creating a project club, short-term learning series, or project workshop, Project Leader Advocates help youth develop important skills sets and explore potential careers. Current project area leadership needs include:

Animal science and livestock (especially cats, chickens, cow, or veterinary science) Gardening and agriculture Global citizenship & social justice Family consumer science (especially sewing and quilting) Fine arts and crafts Food & nutrition Outdoor recreation and environmental education Performing arts Space exploration STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and math)

Commitment: 4-8 hours/month, 1 year commitment 

Paid: $500 annual stipend

Volunteer: Cloverbud Coordinators

Working with our youngest 4-H members in kindergarten through grade 2 can be especially rewarding and fun for volunteers.  Along with providing a great learning experience for young people, Cloverbud coordinators work with families and engage them in 4-H to make sure Cloverbuds get the most from the program. They also work with club leaders to integrate Cloverbud activities with older youth.
