Volunteer: Habitat for Humanity Construction Volunteer
Construction Volunteers are essential for helping Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity achieve its mission of bringing people together to create, preserve, and promote affordable homeownership and advance racial equity in housing.
Construction experience is useful, but not required! Hands-on training will be provided by Habitat Staff on site.

Construction Volunteers must commit to a minimum of one full day (8:30am-3:30pm). For safety reasons, children under the age of 16 are not allowed on site. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have adult supervision. Youth ages 16-17 are required to have one adult (21 years of age or older) for up to four youth.

Volunteer: Habitat for Humanity A Brush With Kindness VolunteerThe A Brush With Kindness program is a neighborhood outreach program within Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity that refurbishes homes of low-income residents, especially those experiencing challenging circumstances such as single parent families, advanced age, disability or poor health. This program helps homeowners remain in safe and affordable homes. Volunteers of all skills levels are welcome. For safety reasons, children under the age of 16 are not allowed on site. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have adult supervision from a parent or adult friend. We ask that volunteer commit to a full day, typically 9:00-4:00pm. Volunteers can come one day, several days, or volunteer regularly on a weekly or bi- weekly basis. Volunteers will be supervised by our ABWK staff or our AmeriCorps members.
