We have several ways that groups can engage in activities and events within our communities including the option of creating your own event...

Let's create smiles together.

Help with Activities: Your group can spend a couple hours helping with activities at a campus nearby your office, most common activities for volunteer groups to assist with are sing-a-longs, crafts, and games. Help with Events: Your group can learn about upcoming events at a nearby campus to volunteer at which could include helping residents who are wheelchair dependent get, to, from, and around the event; serving refreshments; leading games or activities; etc. Enhance and Expand: Your group can partner with one of our campuses to help host an event for our residents. This could include events such as an ice cream social; movie night; baseball opener; homecoming dance; prom; bingo or card tournament; make-overs; a sing-a-long; or something equally terrific!

Volunteer: Love Bingo? So do older adults... Come help during bingo at Johanna Shores in Arden Hills.

Staff call bingo while volunteers sit with long-term care and memory care residents to help them play, socialize, and have fun!

Volunteers may set-up, call bingo, reward prizes to winners, and clean-up. Volunteers should plan to add 15 minutes to either end of the shifts above to accommodate time for set-up and clean-up.

Looking for a volunteer that can commit to a consistent weekly schedule of either Mondays from 1:30 to 2:30 or Fridays from 1:15 to 2:15.


Due to COVID-19: Volunteers will also obey and monitor infection control protocols from distancing, wearing of masks, sign in, and disinfecting.
