Volunteer: Assist with Adaptive Horseback Riding for Military Veterans (Age 20 +)

Join us for a season of fun and smiles!

Our adaptive horseback riding lessons have military veterans of all levels of experience coming out to work with our horses.  Some just need help with the horse while they are mounting, some need to have a leader control all aspects of their riding.

We typically have been using our indoor arena, but may also go outside to our outdoor arenas or on our trails. (Spring - Fall only.)  Volunteers need to be experienced enough with horses to be able to control a spook or stumble while under saddle and to be able to walk an hour at a time in the deep sand of our arena or the uneven terrain of our trails.

Our classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays, May through the end of October.  Class times may vary.

Our riders love to come out and enjoy the relaxation of time with horses. Please come out and join us to make their experience safe and enjoyable!
