Responsibilities may include: Receiving and unloading food deliveries Checking food for quality, expiration dates, and damage Sorting and organizing donated food and household items Stocking shelves and rotating products using the "first in, first out" method Assembling food boxes or meal kits for distribution Keeping the food shelf clean, organized, and safe Assisting with inventory and restocking supplies as needed Helping prepare for and assist during food distribution events Volunteers work as a team to help ensure that individuals and families have access to nutritious food in a welcoming and efficient environment.
