The garage sale is a chance for those items to find a new home, and also raise money for the move. Win win! But we need extra hands to help pull it all off. We're looking for engaging, personable humans to join or Ghost Tour Guide team - folk who are comfortable leading groups of 20-25 on an approximately mile long walking tour around the city of Anoka. A script is provided for guides to learn the facts and stories, but are encouraged to put the stories into their own words with personality. Tours run between 1 and 1.5 hours depending on the guide and walking speed of the group. The tour began in 2004, and has grown to be the largest fundraiser for the Anoka County Museum. A team of guides help us lead over 70 tours in September and October. Guests come from all around the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and states across the country as part of the Anoka Halloween activities.
