Are you a veteran who is looking to support other veterans? If so, Hospice of the Midwest would love to welcome you to our fantastic volunteer team!

We are in need of veterans to provide companionship to fellow veterans who are receiving end of life care. Provide friendly visits to veterans in their homes, including nursing facilities, assisted living and memory care units. Our veteran volunteers also assist hospice staff in conducting pinning ceremonies for patients, as well as Veteran's Day and Memorial Day programs. Opportunities are available throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

 

Requirements include a background screening, drug test, and TB testing. Volunteer training and ongoing support is provided.
