Are you interested in using your experience and expertise in business to empower entrepreneurs and small business owners to achieve their dreams? Join MBMentors, Minnesota's premier non-profit dedicated to fostering business growth and success! In this role, you'll work with Minnesota small business owners and entrepreneurs via phone, on-site or online to build their business.

 

As a volunteer mentor or business coach with MBMentors, you'll be part of a volunteer organization committed to giving back. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to help individuals start, run, and expand their businesses, all at absolutely no cost to them.

Flexible Commitment: With just 10-15 hours a month, you can make a meaningful difference in someone's business journey. Whether you're an industry expert or a seasoned professional, your expertise is invaluable.  And most of the mentoring will be done via phone or zoom. However, there are occasional, as well as quarterly local onsite meetings either with clients or MBMentors staff.  We do require that you're located in the state, preferably in the Twin Cities area.

 

We Especially Need Experience In:

Experience growing or building a business in Minnesota with specific experience in Financial Management/Banking/Social Media/Retail/ Restaurant/Website Development/SEO

About Us:  MBMentors is a premier source of business coaching and advice for entrepreneurs and established small businesses. We are founded and staffed by experienced executives and business owners passionate about giving back to our business community.


We are a 501(c)3 all-volunteer nonprofit whose mission is to empower and promote small businesses in our region.

 

As a CEO Roundtable Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating engaging and productive discussions among our diverse group of business owners.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

Planning and leading roundtable discussions once monthly for 10 months/year at public meeting spaces, such as Hennepin County Library with our CEO's. Encouraging knowledge sharing. Ensuring all voices are heard and ideas are respected. Cultivating a supportive and collaborative environment for participants.

 

What you'll need:

 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience in facilitation or leadership roles. Knowledge of business principles and industry trends (preferred). Ability to adapt to various personalities and perspectives.Availability to volunteer and facilitate meetings, 1/2 days on Thursdays, from 7:30-12:30pm one time/month.
