Volunteer: Fight Hunger with Sanneh: Nutritional Services Volunteer

Nutritional Services

The Sanneh Foundation was founded as a youth sports organization in 2003 by former World Cup soccer player and native Minnesotan, Tony Sanneh. The Sanneh Foundation has broadened its reach and now provides a broad swath of services to address the social determinants of health across Minnesota. The Sanneh Foundation leads by listening to community members and providing services that are culturally responsive, empowering, and designed to improve lives. In an increasingly diverse state, Sanneh is at the forefront of meeting the needs of underserved communities so that every Minnesotan can grow up with the education, health care, home life, and strong community support they need to thrive.

Our Nutritional Services team works together to improve the lives of community members experiencing hunger by safely and efficiently distributing donated products from food rescue partners to hundreds of households each week across the Twin Cities.

With the support of generous volunteers, our program also empowers youth through on-the-job training and coordinates free food distributions Monday through Friday — rain or shine!
