Since 2022, Rock from the Heart volunteers have been raising funds by working concessions at Target Field. Now we’re excited to expand with a new Concert & Event Security Volunteer Fundraising Team in partnership with BEST Security.

These opportunities let you be part of the action at some of the biggest venues in the Twin Cities:

Target Field (Concessions Team)

U.S. Bank Stadium, Target Center, Allianz Field, and Huntington Bank Stadium (Event Security Team)

Every shift you volunteer, Rock from the Heart receives a donation to support our mission of raising awareness and educating about aortic and heart valve disease. It’s a fun, flexible way to give back—while experiencing live events!

***Volunteer hours count toward community service requirements, corporate volunteer programs, and student volunteer hours.***

Target Field volunteers complete online training annually prior to working a shift

*For Target Field shifts, volunteers can be 16 if accompanied by patient and work in a non-alcohol serving position.
*Event Security volunteers required to complete a one time in-person training (12 hours) prior to working a shift.

Rock from the Heart is seeking someone to join our team on a pro bono basis to enhance our social media presence, marketing strategies, and media relations.

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual to assist our team with managing social media and marketing. In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective social media campaigns, marketing initiatives, and media relations strategies. Your efforts will play a crucial role in raising awareness, engaging our audience, and ultimately contributing to the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute social media content plans across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to increase engagement and followers. Create compelling and shareable content, including graphics, videos, and written materials that align with our mission and resonate with our audience. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative marketing strategies to promote our initiatives and events. Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and partners to enhance our organization's visibility. Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and improve overall performance.

Rock from the Heart is seeking an attorney or paralegal to assist (ideally pro bono) to: 

review contracts with venues and entertainers design waivers of liability for volunteers review articles of incorporation update bylaws
