Spanish is the primary language of nearly 1 in 5 visitors to our food pantry and we could use your support today! Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun! Available Opportunities Phone Intake: Help connect participants to our services by setting up food appointments over the phone! Lobby Intake: Assist participants who are receiving food assistance with check-in and help ensure they have a positive experience while at VEAP!Pantry Support: Check in participants at the beginning of their shopping experience! NDC is a small, friendly, busy office with a fast-paced work environment. Employees must be innovative, possess creative problem-solving skills and be willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks. Position Purpose: We are seeking an individual who is bilingual and open to cultural diversity to spend five-ten hours a month training business client in basic social media techniques. It will be your responsibility to teach the business(es) the basics of using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Also, assist with the creation of photos and other content using social media programs like Canva.
