Each year, one of Wilder’s mental health & wellness programs for kids sends out winter break packs in December that include fun for the whole family! We are seeking volunteers to buy and build small packs for 12 families this winter. Each pack includes three components:
- Board Game or Winter-Related Activity: Foster quality family time with every roll of the dice or snowman build by providing an engaging and entertaining game/activity. A list of suggested activities will be provided; must be appropriate for age 5 and up.
- Culturally-Appropriate Kid’s Book: Reading is an incredible way to connect and stimulate young minds. Books for age 5-13 are needed, and specific suggestions will be provided.
- Lego Set, Science or Building Kit, or Craft: Encourage creativity and bonding through these fun activities that involve building, creating, imagining, and fun!
How to Participate:
- Contact us to express interest at volunteer@wilder.org or 651-280-2460. We’re also happy to answer any questions before you commit to the opportunity.
- We’ll send you details on each item requested for 12 total packs of 3 items.
- Then, you can arrange shopping and assembling on your own time.
- We’ll schedule a delivery date on or before Wenesday, Dec. 17 at our location in Saint Paul.
