Project Leader Advocates will provide county-level leadership, voice, & oversight over a project area development. Whether creating a project club, short-term learning series, or project workshop, Project Leader Advocates help youth develop important skills sets and explore potential careers. Current project area leadership needs include:
- Animal science and livestock (especially cats, chickens, cow, or veterinary science)
- Gardening and agriculture
- Global citizenship & social justice
- Family consumer science (especially sewing and quilting)
- Fine arts and crafts
- Food & nutrition
- Outdoor recreation and environmental education
- Performing arts
- Space exploration
- STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and math)
Commitment: 4-8 hours/month, 1 year commitment
Paid: $500 annual stipend
