Who We Are
Clare Housing is a Minneapolis-based non-profit agency that provides affordable housing with services to 300 neighbors living with HIV/ AIDS. Those who live with us have often experienced systemic and individual harm and discrimination, so we commit to ensuring that living at Clare Housing feels healing, empowering, dignifying, and connective. This goal is not achievable without the partnership of neighbors and friends from the broader community (such as you!).
The Opportunity
We all have a special skill, talent, or hobby to share, whether we believe it or not! Maybe it’s a specialized hobby (woodworking, anyone?) or an everyday life skill (we see you, kitchen lovers!), but it’s something you enjoy doing, something you’ve learned and practiced.
Help your neighbors expand their skillsets by teaching that specialty at one of our apartment buildings! We welcome individuals or groups to come by and share something they’re good at, whether through a one-time class or instructional series, to highlight, diversify, and enrich the strengths and abilities of our resident community.
