As a major contributor to the Fundraising team, and interacting closely with the Volunteer Manager and Marketing Department, the Event Coordinator oversees the many events that Carver Scott Humane Society participates in. From start to finish, the EC will be the primary contact to coordinate registration, activities, merchandise, marketing and volunteers. Responsibilities are normally carried out with assistance from event team members.
- Consults with Executive Director to establish the annual list of events
- Works with team to establish budget and goals of each event
- Develops process for implementation of events
- Registers CSHS in all events
- Obtains permits, if applicable
- Communicates details of event to Marketing, Social Media and Volunteer departments
- Arranges for food, if applicable, working with local vendors for donations
- Coordinates activities, if applicable
