Purpose
Broadcast Tech Assistants help ensure Conversations on a Bench runs smoothly by
supporting the live video and audio production. This role is ideal for someone with
experience using livestreaming software and production equipment who can confidently
troubleshoot technical issues and keep the broadcast on track.

Responsibilities
• Operate livestreaming software to manage the live broadcast.
• Transition smoothly between live video/audio and pre-recorded content.
• Monitor the broadcast for audio, video, or connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems involving equipment, microphones, cables, internet connectivity, or livestreaming software.
• Communicate with staff to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
• (Optional) Assist with equipment setup or teardown if available and interested.
Shift Times
- Thursday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
- Thursday 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
- Friday 5:00 - 8:00 a.m.
- Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- Friday 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
