Do you want to change lives through school supplies? If so, come volunteer at our Resource Center for our Supplies on a Saturday Community Volunteer Event!
Our mission at the Twin Cities Kids In Need Resource Center is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom and we do that by providing free school supplies to students most in need in Minnesota.
At this volunteer event, you'll have the chance to learn about our mission, get a tour of our Resource Center and participate in a volunteer activity along with your family, friends and community members. We also encourage all of our volunteers to bring along a donation of NEW school supplies to keep our center stocked and full for teachers throughout the Metro.
We do have a limit of 40 volunteers per event, so sign up fast! To make sure you're registered, please mark "Going" on our Facebook event tab, and email our Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator Brittany, at brittanys@kinf.org, to ensure a spot.
Children as young as 5 are welcome with their parents. Please wear comfortable and warm clothing, as we'll be working in a warehouse setting. When arriving, please pull around to the back of our warehouse and come in the doors marked "Teachers Entrance".
