Volunteer Shopper Intro Session (Age 16 +)

Enjoy shopping?  Come get a taste of how you can help seniors in the community by becoming a volunteer grocery shopper for Help At Your Door.

Shoppers typically volunteer one weekday morning each week, from about 6 to 9 a.m.  They fill and double-check orders, and assist in getting the groceries readied for delivery but do not pay for or deliver the groceries.

Shoppers enjoy working as a team, getting some exercise, and starting the day off right before heading off to work, school or other activities.

During this intro session, you'll get an overview of the organization, see how the shopping operation works, and meet some of our team of volunteers and staff.  There's no commitment to join us if you decide the role isn't right for you.
