Love getting fresh food to our hungry neighbors? Spend time with Second Harvest Heartland at one of our fresh produce distributions. When you volunteer at a fresh produce distribution, you sort food, set up food stations, provide friendly service and put food directly into the hands of our hungry neighbors. Some volunteers may also assist with client tracking. This is a great opportunity for individuals and small groups to serve in a fun and energetic environment. We ask that all volunteers be 13 and older for this event.
This distribution will take place every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 3:30pm- 6:30pm through October. Register for one or multiple! High need for Friday, 8/10.
