Make an Impact Through Pickleball

Reach for Resources is seeking a volunteer with pickleball and tournament experience to serve as our Volunteer Pickleball Tournament Coordinator. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our tournament runs smoothly and provides a fun, organized experience for all participants.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced pickleball player, tournament organizer, or enthusiast who enjoys event management and wants to support a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary tournament lead during the event.
  • Assist with tournament setup and player check-in.
  • Manage brackets, court assignments, and match scheduling.
  • Monitor scores, standings, and tournament progression.
  • Help keep matches running on schedule.
  • Answer tournament-related questions from participants.
  • Communicate with players, volunteers, and Reach staff throughout the event.
  • Assist with awards presentation and event wrap-up.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and help create a positive participant experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of pickleball rules, scoring, and tournament formats.
  • Experience participating in, organizing, or managing pickleball tournaments preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with participants of all skill levels.
