Volunteer Opportunity
Join Reach for Resources for our annual Ghostly Gala, a fun-filled Halloween celebration for individuals of all abilities. This popular community event features costume contests, games, dancing, prizes, dinner, and plenty of Halloween fun. Volunteers play a critical role in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and memorable experience for attendees.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may assist with:
- Event setup and decorating
- Guest check-in and registration
- Game and activity stations
- Costume contest support
- Prize and raffle tables
- Dance floor engagement
- Serving pizza and refreshments
- Wayfinding and attendee support
- Sensory room assistance (if assigned)
- Event cleanup and teardown
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive, and welcoming attitude
- Ability to interact respectfully with individuals of all abilities
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand and move throughout portions of the event
- No prior experience required
