We are gearing up for our annual "Day at the Capitol" on Thursday 3/22, 8am-4pm, with our Breathe Free North team. We are looking for 1 more adult for our team of 4 volunteers (plus staff) to attend and support our youth. This event is an opportunity for young adults and teens to have discussions with their respective legislators.
During the first half of the day we will be providing training for participants and during the second half we will be meeting with decision makers to discuss raising the tobacco purchase age to 21, higher tobacco tax, and restricting the sale of flavored tobacco. Thank you for considering volunteering for this great cause!
We ask that you meet at NorthPoint and stay all day.
