Overview / Impact:
Join the outreach team and help inspire others to care for the Minnesota River! You’ll represent Friends of the Minnesota Valley at events and share our mission with the public.
What You’ll Do:

Attend community festivals, meetings, or partner events

Distribute materials and talk with attendees about our programs

Encourage new memberships and volunteer participation

Help identify new outreach opportunities in your community
Ideal For:
Outgoing individuals who enjoy meeting people and talking about conservation.
Skills:
Comfortable speaking with the public, friendly attitude, ability to learn basic information about the organization.
Time Commitment:
Varies by season—typically 3–6 hours per event. Attend one or several events per year.
