Every child should start school with the supplies they need to succeed!
89.9 KMOJ Radio, Harold Mezile Northside YMCA, GlamLife Events, North Commons Park, and 2nd Chance Outreach have partnered for the Back 2 School Carnival & Backpack Giveaway being held Saturday, August 16th 1pm – 5pm in the parking lot of the Northside YMCA in Minneapolis and North Commons Park between Knox and Logan.
The Back 2 School Carnival & Backpack Giveaway will provide students in the community with the supplies they need to succeed this school year. This will be a positive family friendly event, where everyone can enjoy carnival games, live music, youth performances, free food, and more in a positive, safe, supporting and uplifting environment.
Come out and have fun volunteering at this family-friendly event! We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up, registration, carnival games, bouncy house, backpack giveaway, food distribution, and clean-up. Volunteer with friends or on your own. 2-hour shifts between 1-5pm.
