Minimum Age: 16 (Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)


Opportunity Description:
Join MNeurodivergent as a Community Outreach Volunteer and help us raise awareness, build connections, and support neurodivergent individuals across the Twin Cities! We are a Minnesota-based nonprofit that creates welcoming spaces for people who are Autistic, ADHDers, dyslexic, Tourette’s, and others who identify as neurodivergent.

Outreach volunteers attend public events—such as festivals, conventions, and community fairs—on behalf of our organization. You’ll help with tabling, greet attendees, provide information about our mission, and distribute materials. This is a flexible, engaging role that allows you to make a visible impact in your community.


Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Staff a table at public events in the Minneapolis area

  • Greet and talk with event attendees

  • Share information about MNeurodivergent’s programs and mission

  • Distribute flyers, brochures, and small giveaways

  • Sell branded items such as fidgets and stickers

  • Represent the organization in an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming manner


Ideal Volunteer Qualities:

  • Friendly, dependable, and enjoys engaging with the public

  • Passionate about neurodiversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Comfortable speaking with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds

  • Able to attend occasional weekend or evening events

  • No prior experience required—training and materials provided

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and abilities. Volunteers can indicate any accommodations or preferences, such as seated roles or low-sensory events. Support will be provided throughout.
