All are invited to join us in this historic moment to make our voices heard in the future of public park space in the Wedge neighborhood. We will meet at the (still undeveloped) site of the soon-to-be park, enjoy coffee, bagels, and conversation about the future of the park. If you would like to share your thoughts in writing or by video, we will have writing materials and a camera on site so that we can ensure your voice and perspective are heard! So far, conversations have pointed to several unique needs for this park space: Accessibility features Dog-friendly spaces Sound barriers Bike-friendly features Gardens What other needs are top of mind? Ideas and perspectives are needed so that the future park reflects the true needs of Wedge residents and the bikers, walkers, and commuters who frequent the Loring Greenway.
The MPRB parks board asks that volunteers sign a waiver once a year, also available at event sign in.
