Are you a natural active listener? Easy to lean into a conversation? Let’s make a difference together, come and listen to teens share about what’s going on in their lives and help us provide support in giving them healthy coping skills to navigate life’s feelings. We provide Support Groups to teens weekly to create an environment where they feel safe to talk about their life.
Key Roles & Qualifications
- Love youth and care about families who are struggling
- Good interpersonal skills, reliable, empathetic, and good listener
- Assist and facilitate small group discussions among teens
- Build intentional, personal relationships with teens
- Non-judgmental
Time commitment & Requirements
- Tuesdays 6:30- 9:00 PM
- Attend program at least 3 times per month
- Complete Volunteer Orientation, background check and volunteer training
- Participate in support group debriefings
