Help transform the learning environment at Gordon Parks High School! 3Some of the activities for the day will be:
- Installing Hoop House cover (with help from Tree Trust)
- Building and installing garden beds
- Filling garden beds and laying out pea gravel
- Building storage shed
- Building and finishing outdoor furniture
- Painting 3 classrooms (cut in already done)
- Building classroom furniture
- Refilling and organizing classroom cabinets
- Moving tech equipment back into classrooms
- General organization and clean up
Shifts will be:
- 8:30-11:30 am (focus on outdoor work but activities indoors and out) for 15-20 volunteers
- 12:30-3:00 pm (focus on indoor work but activities indoor and out) for 15-20 volunteers
