Opportunities From: HandsOn Twin Cities

 We love spring and getting outside!  We are looking for volunteers to help with planting and weeding, pruning and splitting, and other general yard clean up tasks.  You can sign up as an individual or with a partner or with your family or group. Plants and materials will be provided (or your group can donate).  We ask that you bring your own work gloves and tools.  We have mulitple locations through out the Twin Cities Metro area.  Our homes are typical neighborhood houses with yard and garden space. We will work with you to determine best location as well as schedule a date and time that works best (preferably Mon - Fri).  This is a one time project in mid-to-late May/early June.  With opportunities for summer maintenance as well as fall clean up.  

Get together and visit with a man who lives at Living Well's home in West St Paul who is interested in doing outside activities such going for walks, birdwatching, and visiting parks.  He also loves a good conversation!  Scheduling a 1 hour time slot weekly or bi-weekly.  No minimum commitment.  Volunteer onboarding includes background check, driver record check, and virtual & in-person orientation.

Small group of adults in our Living Well home are looking for someone with a passion for all kinds of creativity.  Develop and share projects with people of all skill levels.  Various locations available through out the Twin Cities Metro.  Scheduling is flexible, one day a week. You can volunteer weekly or bi-weekly.  No minimum commitment.  Volunteer onboarding includes background check and virtual & in-person orientation.

If you like to read out loud, please join a person we support in one of our homes to read stories from their collection of books; or bring your own books if there is mutual preferences.  For an hour once a week, or bi-weekly Monday - Friday.  Living Well Disability Services supports people  in all areas of wellness, including the joy of reading, and hope you can join us!  Various locations available in the Twin Cities metro area.

Come have fun hanging out at our small neighborhood community homes doing activities like playing games, reading books, doing puzzles, watching movies, ETC!  Commitment is flexible - once a week, or every other week, or once a month- you pick the day and location.  No experience needed - just have a caring heart and be ready to share some positive energy!  Sign up as an individual, a pair, or a family or small group.  Volunteers under 16 can come with their family.  Various locations in the Twin Cities metro available.
