Volunteer: Group service projects in our gardens and natural areas

Bring your group together to make a lasting impact in our parks! Groups ranging in size from 5–50 volunteers can take part in one-time service projects that support the health and beauty of our gardens and natural areas.
   Ideal For: 

Groups of 5–30 volunteers (larger sites may accommodate up to 50)  Corporate teams  Spiritual and community organizations  Clubs and schools  Families and youth groups 
Availability:  Season: April–November (weather dependent)          Times: Weekday mornings or early afternoons  Limited weekend availability  2–3 hour time slots between 8/9 AM – 2/3 PM  Occasional late afternoon or early evening sessions available 
Typical Project Tasks:  Spring and fall garden and landscape clean-ups  Planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching in gardens and along trails  Invasive plant removal (e.g., buckthorn)  Litter pickup and park or playground clean-up
