Qualifications: To volunteer at Reach, volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and be screened through an interview process by our Volunteer Manager.

Training and Preparation of the Job: All volunteers must complete an orientation training session.

Evaluation: At the end of volunteer commitment, the volunteer will have a chance to evaluate his/her position. Objective: Reach for Resources is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower people to reach their full potential. We do this by providing individualized services that maximize independence, boosts community involvement, and improve physical and emotional well-being. By sharing your talents our organization, you receive a chance to give back to your community and gain great experience.

Responsibilities/Duties: Each member of the Fund Development & Marketing Committee is asked to contribute their skills to assist with increase awareness, communication, engagement, and fundraising efforts with our organization and mission.

· Development Strategy: develop & execute a long-range fund development plan with a mix of strategies including revenue goals and action plans. Monitor and track progress on the fund development plan. Participate in problem solving to address lags in achievement of objectives and targets.

· Philanthropic Support: develop plans surrounding our philanthropic engagement & support. Assess fund development results and return on investment (ROI).

· Fundraising activities: investigate new fundraising projects, activities, and ideas for possible use in the future.

· Social Media/Blog: Increase awareness of Reach social media, suggest topics and posts, review analytics, and plan long-term goals.

· News/Communications/Press: Design ideas for print and online communications, promote fundraising days and events, and develop press and marketing contacts.

· Content: Assist in gathering content, data, and stories on Reach services and discuss new ways of sharing with our supporters.

· Reach Awareness: Increase awareness of Reach services and mission, help connect with other organizations for partnerships and opportunities, gather ideas for local involvement and awareness, and plan long-term strategic goals for Reach.

· Website & Online Ads: Increase awareness of Reach website, website suggestions/updates/mobile friendly, suggest/update ads (Google & Microsoft), track/review analytics, and plan long-term goals.
