We provide dignified shelter and housing for single adults and education for adult English language learners through our two programs – Our Saviour’s Housing and the English Learning Center. Approximately three-quarters of our participants are BIPOC, and roughly 60% of our 35 employees share that identity. Historically, our board composition has lagged behind the diversity of our staff and participants in several dimensions, including racial diversity. Our Board is examining and addressing contributing factors to our current composition and we welcome applicants to the Board who are dedicated to this work. As one example, in early 2023, we updated our organization’s bylaws to increase the accessibility and inclusion of Board membership. WHO ARE YOU?
