Painters Needed!

Volunteers are needed to help paint residential hallways

 

Group Size

10-15 adult volunteers

 

Dates and Times

Any day, Monday-Friday

Start time may be flexible, but 5-6 hours of volunteer time is needed for painting projects

 

Supplies

Your contribution of time alone is appreciated for this project and this project is NOT dependent on donating supplies, however, partial or full contributions made for paint and supplies are always welcome

In our housing stability programs, Catholic Charities provides shelter, meals and opportunities to find jobs, secure a stable home and medical care for those in need. Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Saint Paul Opportunity Center provides daytime services to connect people with medical and mental health care, hot-meals, showers, computer lab access, laundry and employment counseling.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve meals while providing a warm greeting to guests and support for staff. No special skills are required. A parking lot and street parking are available for volunteers. There are no fees for parking. We welcome volunteers who are age 14 and older. Guests and staff enjoy the help of volunteers. We’d love to have you join us.

Frey Minneapolis Opportunity Center is open during the day, Monday - Saturday and connects people with health services, hot meals, showers, a computer lab, laundry, locker rental and employment counseling.

Every year, Catholic Charities serves over one million healthy meals and snacks and provides supplies to nearly 20,000 people most in need in our community. At the Catholic Charities Distribution Center (CCDC), we receive large donations of food and other new and unused clothing and household, personal care and supplies that are distributed to our client programs and 11 food service sites throughout the Twin Cities. 

We are in need of volunteers to assist with sorting and packing non-food donations, sorting and storing large quantities of food as well as helping with composting and recycling tasks, processing sizeable amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables, making sandwiches and/or other food service preparations. No special skills are required.  We welcome volunteers who are age 14 and older. Our distribution center is located near downtown St. Paul and just east of lower-town - we have a parking in our lot and on Chester Street We receive donations each business day resulting in much needed help - we would love to have you join us!

Small and large groups of adults or young adults are needed to spiffy up our grounds by pulling weeks, trimming greenery, sweeping, and washing windows.  Great option for your group to show your strength as a team and help keep our space beautiful.
