Volunteer: Administrative Volunteer (remote)

Position Summary:


The Administrative Volunteer is a remote position and will work closely with the Development & Volunteer Coordinator to provide the following:
1. Clerical support for everyday operations.
2. Special event coordination- soliciting silent auction items, fundraising support, marketing campaigns.
3. Prevention support though community outreach efforts.
4. Online research ranging from travel cost research to Child Advocacy article research.
5. Grant research
6. Other duties as needed

Time Commitment: One shift per week required and/or one shift every other. 6-month volunteer commitment Various shifts available: We currently need 2 volunteers to each work one 2–4-hour shift per week.  Responsibilities and Qualifications: Must be over 18 years of age. Experienced in Word, Excel & Power Point. Along with experience in basic research. Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong interpersonal boundaries. Comply with all program policies and procedures of CornerHouse. Ability to work closely with staff. Technology is required, but not provided for this position.

Volunteer: Forensic Services Volunteer

Provide a safe and child-friendly environment for children and families before, during and after Forensic interviews, including purposeful play and appropriate interactions with others in the Forensic Service area. Greeting clients and families Maintaining and at times coordinating the reception area. Answering doors and phone calls. Administrative work as needed. Staffing the desk at client services as needed.

Tasks when there are not clients:

Work on records room (either typing out spreadsheets or working on destruction with other specialists) Case outcomes (see Mallory or Abby for Directions) Cleaning and sanitizing toys. There are towels and buckets in the closet to help with this Calendar appointments? PTO. F:/Training Old Info request tracking Filing in RR (as training allows) Reading through Reports (interns) Putting files together Creating Intake folders Make copies or print things in CS drawer or Intake cabinet Research upon request

Position Summary: The Family Services Desk Volunteer will work closely with the Volunteer Manager and Family Services to provide the following: Greet families as they arrive. Engage in play with children and interact with caregivers in the family reception area. Provide a child friendly environment for children before support group therapy. Assist caregivers in watching their children during support group therapy.

Shifts are Tuesday 5 PM to 7 PM
