This fall, students in grades 1 to 12 will form Robotics teams to participate in FIRST Robotics programs. We need both technical and non-technical judges to evaluate their work.
Kids in grades 1 - 3 will compete in Cargo Connect as part of FIRST LEGO League Explore, those in grades 4 - 8 will compete in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge Cargo Connect, and those in grades 7 - 12 will take on the FIRST Tech Challenge Freight Frenzy.
In Minnesota these talented kids will compete at an event organized by High Tech Kids. Join us to be inspired by these students. Following volunteer training in October, spend a Saturday or Sunday in December through February judging teams at either a live or remote Robotics Tournament. Kids will explain what they learned and built through these FIRST programs. Judges ask questions and provide encouragement to teams during judging sessions, then collaborate with other judges to determine award winners.

After attending training let us know your availability for the tournament season (November - February).
New volunteers will be paired with an experienced volunteer for their first assignment.
For the 2021-2022 season, our events will be conducted in person. We are requiring all volunteers and participants to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. We will hold one event remotely via web based conferencing.
