Have you ever wished that you had a “Dream Team” you could call on when you have:
- To develop or pilot a new program?
- Been charged with the development of a policy or procedural manual?
- To develop a social media campaign without any marketing background?
- A project that you feel you would like have a sounding board before starting?
Wilder and HandsOn are teaming up to share information on how to identify and engage pro bono volunteers to address a variety of organizational needs. Pro bono volunteers, unlike traditional volunteers want to be of service to organizations by utilizing their specific skill sets. Skills based volunteers can bring great benefits to any organization, however, it is always a good idea to consider potential challenges that may arise. Determine if your organization is ready to engage highly skilled volunteers. Identify specific tasks that would attract skills based volunteers to your program or organization. This workshop will include communication and change management strategies that can help drive innovation and social impact through skills based volunteer opportunities.
