For nearly 50 years EVOLVE (formed through a merger of Crossroads Adoption and Hope Adoption in 2014) has provided high-quality adoption, foster care, family preservation and other related services for families in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

Our Mission: We provide a full breadth of inclusive, ethical programming including adoption, foster care, pregnancy support, youth services, therapeutic support and education.

Children all over the world are growing up without permanent families. These children are in desperate need of affection, stability, and a place to call home. At EVOLVE, we work diligently to unite these children with families who will love, support, and value them as individuals.

The idea of “family” is evolving every day. We understand that each situation is unique, personal, and significant, and we treat it as such. We welcome and are committed to serving all individuals and families, regardless of race, religion, age, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or marital status. Our staff is dedicated to helping families throughout the entire adoption process, supporting them in their transitions, and preparing them for life as a family.

EVOLVE offers a variety of programs because we know families can be built in multiple ways. Our programs are designed to support all evolving individuals and families by:

Providing a variety of Domestic Infant programs to fit the needs of those families looking to adopt an infant from anywhere in the US.

Recruiting and training families interested in our Foster Care program. These families serve as foundational support for children in times of life transition.

Offering free, unbiased support to those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, in our Pregnancy Services program. Our pregnancy counselors help women and their families know their options and make the decisions that are best for them, free of judgment or pressure.

Working with children directly, taking time to get to know them, their interests, and what makes them unique in our Child-Focused Recruitment program. Statistics have shown the value of individually preparing and supporting children in foster care on their journey to find a family.

At EVOLVE, we want to ensure that every individual and family we work with feels equipped for their adoption and foster care journey.   We offer a variety of educational and supportive events to promote strong, healthy families.
