OUR MISSION

Bridging empowers people to thrive in their homes by providing quality furniture and household goods to those pursuing housing stability. 

Bridging, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the greater Twin Cities, is the largest furniture bank in the United States. Driven by volunteers and donations of furniture and household goods from the community, Bridging has furnished over 120,000 homes since 1987.

Each week, Bridging provides quality furniture and household goods for up to 120 families who are pursuing housing stability. To serve as many people in need as possible, we work with a network of over 270 referring agencies, including social service and nonprofit organizations, who refer clients to us. These partners verify there is a need with each household before clients walk through our doors.
