Who We Are

The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community.

The Arc Minnesota is a non-profit, grassroots, membership organization serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. These disabilities include autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other related conditions.

Volunteers have also always been vital to The Arc …and they still are.  Achieve with us!

What We Do

Volunteers play an important role at The Arc Minnesota and Arc's Value Village Thrift Stores and Donation Centers.  Your efforts help us support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  We have volunteer opportunities available for individuals and for groups up to 20 in size. We welcome both adult and youth volunteers as long as youth are a minimum age of 8.
