Who We Are

The Aliveness Project links people living with HIV to resources for leading healthy, self-directed lives. Aliveness was founded as a community center for and driven by people living with HIV. For over 35 years, we have been facilitating connection to community, offering nutrition & wellness services, and linking our members to resources to lead fulfilling & healthy lives.

What We Do

The Aliveness Project operates a community center in south Minneapolis that houses supportive services for people living with HIV, including case management, hot meals, food shelf, integrative therapies, member activities, health and wellness workshops, nutritional and behavioral therapies. Aliveness also has Outreach services, which include Harm Reduction efforts and a Syringe Exhange program.

The Aliveness Project also provides free, rapid HIV tests to the public and care linkage to the newly diagnosed. Anyone living with HIV in Minnesota can become a member of The Aliveness Project and access our community center and services at no cost.
