Who We Are
The Basic Needs Action Team was established in 1996 to determine how to aid the disadvantaged individuals within our community. It was decided that a community-based thrift store should be opened, where the general public could donate their gently used goods for resale. Basic Needs has created a voucher system where individuals experiencing poverty can find and benefit from resources provided to the community through our stocked food shelf, thrift shop, and community events. We aim to improve our community build and strengthen our community through aiding those in need.
What We Do
Engage the community in supporting families and individuals by providing access to quality used clothes, household items and furniture in a convenient, dignified manner.
