MISSION STATEMENT: To prepare the next generation of leaders for S.M.A.R.T. proficiency and help close the academic achievement and wealth gaps in underserved communities.
ORGANIZATION’S CHALLENGE:
Executive Director of Relentless Academy, Nicoshia Wynn, created the organization’s website using a Wix template. After several years of organizational growth and success, she’s looking for tech support to enhance website design, integrate more data, and explore backend analytics.
Although the website is serving its purpose, Nicoshia struggles when implementing bigger changes such as trying to embed a video or add an event. Due to the coding knowledge needed, the appearance seems off, and she’d like to have the framework in place to support these features and more. She’s also looking for a modern design and simple user-experience that highlights what they do well as an organization, which is preventing youth learning loss over the summer.
The organization has data to highlight these achievements using a system called Arly, which allows for pre and post assessments of participants and surveys to parents to measure program outcomes. Although this data is pulled together for an end of summer showcase with sponsors and families, data is not currently integrated on the website or social media platforms. Nicoshia wonders if an automated template is possible to use these results more effectively and widely display their accomplishments.
As time allows, Nicoshia would also like to learn more about the backend analytics possibilities of the organization’s website and social media channels. Currently, nothing is set up to review website traffic or engagement results and this feels like a missed opportunity in measuring their overall engagement and impact.
With an updated website and new tools for reporting and analyzing data, Relentless Academy can engage new partners in their work.
