MISSION STATEMENT: To ensure college and career success for high-potential students from low-income backgrounds, and through our efforts help build diverse, equitable and vibrant communities. We do this through a comprehensive model of financial aid and holistic support, and collaboration with our business, education, community, and philanthropic partners.
ORGANIZATION’S CHALLENGE:
MinnesotaCAN is a collaborative effort between Wallin Education Partners, Achieve, and College Possible to reestablish a local chapter of the National College Attainment Network. Steering committee members have secured a URL for MinnesotaCAN’s website and are seeking tech support to develop the framework.
Steering committee members are volunteers and haven’t had full capacity to devote to MinnesotaCAN’s development. Leaders have developed a logo and brand guide in Canva and identified a free website template on GoDaddy. They also have a Constant Contact newsletter template created they’d like the website to visually align with. The goals of the website are to connect practitioners, share professional development opportunities, organize resources and support advocacy work. Leaders anticipate having a section for each of these content areas in addition to pages with ‘about us’ information, steering committee details, current member highlights and a membership sign-up. Finally, leaders would like to determine how to successfully integrate newsletter content onto the website.
With a developed website framework, MinnnesotaCAN can broaden their outreach efforts while maintaining a cohesive digital presence.

This spot is for the Project Lead Role - Project Leads help facilitate the meetings, guiding the team through the agendas, keeping folks on task and conversation flowing, inclusive of all voices. Project leads do not need to have expertise in all aspects of the challenge but rather have strong leadership and facilitation skills. They will also help schedule the scoping call.
